"Teaching doesn't begin when you walk across the stage at graduation, but instead teaching begins during your first college class at 8:00 AM."

Hi! I’m Sam Fecich a professor of education, author, and a huge fan of pumpkin spice lattes (PSL) and listening to Christmas music all year round! I am blessed to be able to do what I love, every single day. Working with preservice teachers is an honor and it's so exciting to prepare the future generation for an even better future.

I have been a professor of education for over 7 years and I  get to do so many different things daily. Some days I'm in my office at Grove City College, working with students and teaching preservice teachers about educational technology or special education. Other days I'm working on my consulting projects. I'm so excited to share my courses with you! They'll help you build your professional learning network, learn how to create activities that will impact students in a meaningful way,  hone your digital presence, and apply the Danielson Framework for teaching.  With a focus on special education, our students have an opportunity to learn about special needs and how to best serve all students based on their strengths and areas of need.

I can't wait to share my knowledge with you, and I love teaching! When I'm not teaching, you can find me spending time with family and friends, going to flea markets, collecting pinball machines, baking, and staying healthy.
