EdTech for planning and prep

Updated: Mar 5

I am going to be sharing educational technology tools across the domains, Danielson domains, for the next few weeks– that is! This is a curated list of preservice teachers at Grove City College. Each group was assigned a specific Danielson domain, and they identified a tech tool that fits into the Domain to justify why it's a good fit for the specific Domain. Let's dive in – here we go!

Domain 1 - Planning and Preparation This Domain focuses on planning lessons that impact your students' learning. It relates to the power of knowing your students, really knowing your students beyond the student interest survey, and understanding the content area and how to teach it with evidence-based and research-based practices. It also has a component of assessing students learning and making sure that your content is coherent in sequence and scope.

Share my lesson, or Teachers pay teachers.

Find a library of resources and lesson plans created by teachers for teachers! Stop by this site to get those creative juices flowing. You can edit and adjust the lessons for your learners. Some are free, and some are paid.

Planboard

It allows teachers to organize and plan their daily and weekly lessons online. It also allows them to share the document, track standards, and collaborate with other educators in the district. A teacher can also track attendance and grades and record observations within this easy-to-use tech tool!

PDE SAS

PDE SAS is your new teacher's best friend if you are a Pennsylvania teacher. Check out the SAS site to find A site that provides standards and sample lesson plans. It also has an assessment builder and resources to help you plan and deliver lessons.

What are some tools that you use to plan instruction?
