Greetings, everyone!
If you're passionate about education and always looking for ways to grow professionally and personally, these books are must-reads. Each one of these inspiring reads for educators offers unique insights into motivation, teaching journeys, and the future of education. Here’s a roundup of some inspiring titles that have impacted my thinking and might ignite your educational spark!

Three Inspiring Reads for Educators
1. Drive by Daniel Pink I’ve always been fascinated by what motivates people to act—or not act. Daniel Pink’s Drive dives deep into the science of motivation, exploring autonomy, mastery, and purpose. I started reading this book a couple of years ago and plan to pick it back up soon. It’s a powerful read for anyone curious about human behavior and motivation in learning environments.
2. The Teacher’s Journey by Brian Costello. I had the honor of reviewing this book before its official release. It follows the transformative journeys of several educators as they evolve into teaching superheroes. If you're looking to discover your own teaching origin story, this book is a heartfelt and inspiring guide.
3. Future Driven by David Geurin Gifted to me by Roger Davis, a new friend and fellow educator, at a recent Edcamp, this book is next on my reading list. Future Driven promises to challenge traditional thinking and push educators to innovate and lead with purpose in the classroom.
🌟 Bonus Book for Preservice Teachers: EduMagic by Dr. Sam Fecich
This one’s close to my heart! EduMagic: A Guide for Preservice Teachers empowers future educators to embrace their journey before certification. It breaks the myth that teaching begins only after graduation and instead celebrates the value preservice teachers bring to the field right now.
Inside, you’ll find:
Real stories and advice from preservice teachers
Practical tools and strategies
Encouragement to dream big and take action
Whether you're in a teacher prep program or mentoring someone who is, EduMagic will inspire you to believe in your potential and let your inner magic shine.
